Freestyle Committee
We're looking for members to volunteer for the Freestyle Committee, for one year. The Committee works on special projects and events, education and communication. If you're uncertain about an entire year, we also encourage you to volunteer throughout the season for individual projects. (We can supply a list!) Let us know if you have an area of special interest or talent that could benefit our members.

Competition Checklist
Never leave home without it!
- Always wear makeup. Lipstick and blush and mascara. and some hair glitter if you like.
- Never wear underwear under your tights.
- Always bring an extra pair of tights, and an extra DRESS TOO.
- Carry a screwdriver for the blades!!!!
- Extra skate laces.
- Polish those skates and wash your laces.
- Always stick a sewing kit in your bag.
- Extra bobby pins and hair spray.
- Have two copies of your music.
- Don't forget your everyday things: hard guards, water bottle, Kleenex, jump rope, towel, mat for stretching.
- Directions to the rink.
- Camera!
- Video tape. Usually there is a videographer. Use one tape for the whole season to see your progress, and note what needs work.
- Some skaters like to take a Walkman and listen to their program, or other music.
- Get a copy of your results at the registration desk before you leave the competition.
- Pick up your music before you leave the competition.
- Smile!
